At CAJA, we wholeheartedly support the explicit expression, collaboration, and opinions of others. 

We encourage our board to be informed, to express their ideas, opinions, to engage with their neighborhood and school communities.

CAJA is a a non-partisan 501(c)(3) tax-exempt charitable organization subject to federal, state, and local laws and regulations with regards political activities, such as campaign activities and lobbying. 

While individuals in the CAJA network, including program participants, have the right to express their political opinions and engage in political activities, it is crucial that they do so in their individual capacities only in order to avoid the appearance that they are speaking or acting on behalf of CAJA. 

We expressly disavows all partisan opinions and activities not made in accordance with these provisions: such opinions and activities are not authorized by CAJA.
