How we help
CAJA has an unwavering dedication to provide holistic youth support services to our community. As a 501(c)(3) faith-based grassroots charity, we are committed to the holistic nurturing of young people who have faced the challenges of the juvenile justice system. Our goal is to empower these individuals with the skills and support they need to unlock their full potential. We achieve this through our three core services: Support, Advocacy, and Aid, each designed to pave the way for a future where youth are contributors to society, not casualties of circumstance.

Support: Nurturing Potential
Our Support service is a cornerstone of our mission, offering no-cost mental health counseling for both youth offenders and their families. By addressing the emotional and psychological needs of these young individuals, we lay the groundwork for healing and growth. We believe that mental well-being is the first step towards a life of fulfillment and purpose.
Advocacy: Championing Change
Advocacy is at the heart of what we do. CAJA stands as a voice for vulnerable youth, advocating for their rights and for systemic changes that reduce recidivism, truancy, and curfew violations. Through education on legal consequences and ongoing support, we strive to steer our youth away from the pitfalls of the justice system and towards a path of rehabilitation and opportunity.
Aid: Offering a Helping Hand
Aid is the practical aspect of our mission, providing no-cost legal representation for youth offenders. Our aim is to navigate the complexities of the legal system, ensuring that every young person we represent has a fair chance at justice. Beyond the courtroom, we also assist with securing housing, employment, and educational opportunities, facilitating a smoother transition into adulthood.
